The mechanical trading project is a way to help me (& you) to use Excel, Python and R to get the basics right, namely pull up data, plot charts, backtest on various parameters generate alerts etc.
I am just putting the files out there and appreciate any and all feedback you may have!
The files may be MS Excel workbooks, iPython notebooks or R notebooks.
